Free Keyword Enabled Short URL Service Launches

Good News for Webmasters & Affiliates

A new free short URL service is available to web users. I love these short URLs, no more emails with broken links, no more database fields unable to accomodate the length of some URLs, easy categorisation etc. etc. I would guess most experienced internet users will have found a use for these services at one time or another.

So what is it about this new service that is likely to attract users? First it is free to use, always a good start! You don't even need to register on the site. Then, unlike some similar services, the advanced feature of this service enables users to choose a keyword or any code containing five or more characters to form part of the new URL link. This feature alone could prove a boon for affiliates and web marketers as they can both camouflage their often ridiculously long links and add a suitable suffix to the URL to help them keep track of their work.

The terms of service are very fair and available to view. Basically the terms state that any short URL created must point to a real web page and no illegal or offensive content is to be linked to by using the service. Apart from that you're pretty much free to do as you please with this FREE short URL service.
