1. Bring your children to visit all the museums at no cost during the annual Montreal Museum day.

The final Sunday of each May is the annual Museum Day in Montreal. On this day, all the museums offer free access to their permanent and temporary exhibits and run special activities for the whole family, such as: outdoor activities, family fun, arts and crafts workshops, concerts, demonstrations, science experiments, films, games, rallies, historical re-enactments, presentations, shows and guided tours ... More amazingly, during this day, you and your children can enjoy free public transit service and most museums expand their opening hours. Therefore, if you schedule your museum trip in advance and organize the routines well, it's possible to visit all the museums within one day without paying any public transit or admission.
