Here's a description of the abbreviations used in the Candy Corn pattern:
Dpn - double pointed needles
Inc 1 - use either right or left increase
K2tog - knit two stitches together
L inc - this gives an increase that slants to the left. Insert the left needle from the front to the back and under the thread between two stitches. Knit through the back loop, making a new stitch.
R inc - this is the right increase that slants to the right. Insert the left needle from the back to the front and then under the stitch between the two stitches. Knit through the front loop to form another stitch.
Rnd - Round
Ssk - slip the nest two stitches one at a time as if knitting onto the right needle. Inster the left needle through the front loop of both stitches, then knit together.
St(s) - stitches
Have a haunting good time knitting these Halloween Candy Corn Beanbags.
