Free On-line Game Sites

I know how much fun games can be! i have played games ever since I was a child. Now that I am a parent I still play games. Sometimes i play games by myself, other times I play with my kids, and even other times I play games with my husband. Many times we all enjoy playing games together as well. When it comes to on-line games I usually play by myself. However as with almost any rule, there is an exception to that rule as well.

This article is not going to tell you every site out there that will offer you free games. It will tell you the sites that I have found and enjoy.

Yahoo Games
Yahoo.com is known for many things. I am sure that one of the things that they are known for is the game section of their site. The list of games is almost never ending. Some of these games are free to play on-line through the Yahoo Games website. Others you can download for an hour long free trial or pay to download and play for as long as you want! They also offer skill games which are games where you can win money. I personally prefer to play the games on-line for free at the Yahoo Games site. Yahoo Games does offer a wide variety of games with good graphics for a large variety of people.

Arcadelist.com
This site offers a large variety of games for free. I find that the graphics are not as good, but the games are still fun and free!

Pogo.com
This site has loads of free games as well as the opportunity to win prizes. You can join the club and play with no advertisements. There is a fee to join the club. Once again, I prefer to play for free. But I know many people who have joined and have loads of fun playing on Pogo!

BugCafe
This is another site that is free, however you can pay a membership fee as well. This site used to offer only a scrabble type game. Now they offer a wide variety of games. My favorite is their version of scrabble. I play this with family from out of town and it is a blast! I play my turn and then I check back and see when they have played their turn. The only thing I wish was that i got an e-mail alert when it was my turn to play. However, it only take a second to check to see if it is my turn to play or not. It is fun and easy and free!

MSN Games
This site is similar to Yahoo's game site. They offer the same types of games. However, they are not all the exact same games. for variety it is fun to check out both Yahoo and MSN game sites to see which game you are in the mood for!

Free Online Games
This site has a good variety of games. Some have better graphics than others. I have had trouble keeping this site up because of pop up ads, but when it works it is lots of fun!

Whichever site you go to for on-line games, you are sure to have a blast!
