Breathing in and out,
spinning,
Arms up and then slowly out
This is me
Being Free.
Free to be me
Free to balance myself
Amid the cool air
Free to turn my feet
And then sun painted hair
And land again because I dare
To be free.
Free to start again
Whenever need be
Free to push you away
And pull you back again to me
Free to be alone
in my solitary glee
because I'm free.
And if throughout life
I lose my balance and fall
I never cry that life is unfair
I just start again
With my feet turning in air
And wear life's lessons
With undoubting flair
Because this is me
Being Free.
