Free Miley Cyrus Videos

Fans of Miley Cyrus, the star of Disney's hit show, Hannah Montana, can get an "inside" look at her life with free Miley Cyrus videos on YouTube.

According to the summary on the YouTube page, Miley and Mandy Jiroux have been best friends for a couple of years. Mandy, a dancer, was teaching Miley some moves. They turned on a camera and discovered that their interaction was very entertaining. So, they created these free Miley Cyrus videos - officially called The Miley and Mandy Show!!!! (with four exclamation points).

At first, most of these free Miley Cyrus Videos are low-tech and include Miley and Mandy talking, singing and goofing off. They are similar to videos other teenage girls might make with friends: hold a camera at arm's length, or put it on a table, and talk.

Unlike other videos, the The Miley and Mandy Show!!!! gets millions of page views.

During one of the free Miley Cyrus videos, you can watch Miley and Mandy practice choreography before a concert and have a pillow fight in their hotel room. In another, they wake up early to do a radio interview.

In another free video, they answer fans' questions such as: What is your favorite color? Miley and Mandy both say blue. You learn that Miley and Mandy sometimes shop at Target. In that episode, Miley and Mandy wear similar outfits and hats. (It's actually a little scary, if you ask me.)

You also learn that Mandy is four-and-a-half years older than Miley. Frankly, it was a bit surprising to learn that Mandy was 20 at the time of the taping.

Overall, most of the free Miley Cyrus videos I've seen have decent language and clothing. There's nothing too racy, although parents of younger children might want to check them out first. The only non-kid-friendly items seemed to be some of the comments people have left on the YouTube pages, including one asking if Miley and Mandy are potheads and others asking about Miley's sexual orientation.

While they began simply, as a way for Miley Cyrus to seemingly talk directly to her fans, some of the free Miley Cyrus videos have become much more complicated. They've gone high-tech in response to a dance challenge with another artist on YouTube - each side is trying to out-do the other.

In one free Miley Cyrus video that's part of the dance challenge, Miley and Mandy perform a routine to the song "4 Minutes" along with professional dancers. Later, there's an even more elaborate video that features great dancing and some guest appearances. It ends by thanking the people who performed and mentioning that Miley Cyrus has a new album coming out.

Clearly, with these last videos, these free Miley Cyrus videos seem less spontaneous and more a part of the overall Miley Cyrus marketing plan. But that's something Miley Cyrus fans probably shouldn't worry about. Instead, kids can enjoy these videos; and parents don't have to pay a dime.

Interesting article. Market ploy or not..it's refeshing to read about the overall content..I was holding my breath waitig for the sleaze to ooze out..I'm grateful it wasn't more debauchery from the teen star...My 9-year-old is becoming cynical..and I'm becoming more active in my Disney star vetting role ;-)
