Use Goodsearch.com To Raise Money
So how does it work?
Goodsearch.com is nothing more than a search engine that allows you to earn money for doing what you are probably doing already anyway - searching for things on the internet. Simply open an internet browser, logon to http://www.goodsearch.com, and choose the "Who do you goodsearch for" button. Select the organization of your choice (they don't have to be local, they can be anywhere), then return to the homepage to perform a search. That organization will receive 1 penny for each search conducted. The more you search, the more money you get. Checks are sent out once a year and the entire process is completely free of charge. But where does the money come from? It comes from the $8 billion dollars that advertisers who advertise on the pages you search through, spent, of course. And the content is supplied by Yahoo so you know the results should be good.
What else can I do on goodsearch.com?
Searching for hot topics is not the only thing you can do on the Good Search website. The latest feature launched in 2007 is GoodShop, an area where internet users can shop online with hundreds of participating retailers. Each retailer offers a dollar value donation or a certain percentage of all purchases. During the holidays this can really add up.
My non-profit organization isn't on the Good Search website.
Although there are approximately 52,000 non-profit organizations that belong to Good Search as of this writing in the beginning of 2008, you may not see the non-profit organization of your choice. That's ok - you can add it and start earning money for them. Add them by following the directions above under the heading "So how does it work." Once you set the non-profit organization you want to raise money for, it will default to it, allowing you to easily raise money for them every time you search.
How I get the word out?
Well, there are a lot of ways. First, you can add your involvement in Good Search as an email signature which will go out with every email you send - that could add up quickly. Or, you can contact the local newspapers and/or television and radio stations to promote what you are doing. Hopefully those who see the story will help earn money for your organization. Other online venues are good places to promote Good Search, too. Add a link to the site from your website or blog, participate in discussion boards and chat groups or even answer questions related to the topic of "giving" on sites such as Yahoo Answers.Or write an article such as this one and submit it to other websites.
If you'd like to help, but do not have a particularly favorite charity to support, feel free to choose my organization "The Word" church in New Jersey. After four years in existence, we meet in an auditorium in a middle school while we wait for our new building to be built. So far,in just a few months, we've raised $50 and while that may not sound like a lot right now, the money will continue to accumulate and, hopefully, more and more people will participate. Besides, that $50 will help us buy many new bibles, send a teenager on some type of fellowship event, provide food for a gather or whatever else we may need. Get searching! What do you have to loose?

Post a Commentthis is to let all know this is rase money and to set up and buy land for our troops to hunt fish camp and build on the site to have water and power and a bathroom for the disabled or none disabled vets to use at anytime . at no coast to then in the texas hill country. why did we not ever have this for our troops did they not give there all and whan we get in trouble who do we allways count on ask your self that one anyone can go to the bank of any WELLS FARGO and donate with your help i can and will make this happen thank you founder JOHN WILLIS , iceman21611@yahoo.com

I am a teacher from Romania in a school from countryside (not very rich...).I wish edit a school - magazine for children (7-15 y.o. ) where they could publish their literary work (poems , composition, stories...).I need a pc (or a laptop , second hand ) a digital camera and some xerox-papers ( A 4 ).Of course , an edit-machine it would be the best , but I don't dream to that ...
