Did You Say Free?
There are many sites that allow you to download these "Love Icons" totally free of charge. Well, that's if you don't count those sometimes annoying popups you must endure.
First up is Wonder Icons (http://www.wondericons.com/love/).
This site has from blinking ones, to ones that flash, to ones that are animated. Their selection is not large, but it's definitely enough to get you started and there are some pretty cute ones here as well.
Next on the list is MySpace Dev (http://www.myspacedev.com/myspace-icons/love/index.htm).
Now this site has quite a vast amount of "Love Icons". These icons include ones with romantic sayings and also again those that sparkle and move. There are some pretty neat ones here as well, for the young ones to those young at heart.
How about a lot of glitter, at Cool MySpace Comments (http://www.coolmyspacecomments.com/love.html)?
If you like things that sparkle and catch the eye, this place is for you. This features love centered comments that run the gambit from "Puppy Love" to "Love is Love". They also include a few that are a bit on the raunchy side, as well. Included are the code needed to link directly to the site if you chose not to host the images on a site yourself.
Now for the largest free selection found in one place, go to 123 My Codes (http://www.123mycodes.com/icons/Love/).
Hope you've got plenty of time to browse this library, because you're going to need it. This site at the time of this review had over 300 "Love Icons". No duplicates involved. If you want it, it's got to be here. They have anything from "Love to Love U Baby" to "Love is Sour" to "You Hold the Key to My Heart" and let's not forget "Chocolate Loves Me". They include many with flashing and chasing lights involved. This one is pretty kid friendly, as well.
There are many more sites out there that offer "Love Icons" and they're yours for the taking. Just remember that some of them would like to receive credit for being used, by attaching the website that it came from somewhere in the coding. Others will actually have the web address where you found the icon listed right on the icon. Either way, it's a small price to pay for showing love on MySpace.
