Years ago the radio was our primary entertainment, besides books. Everyone listened to the radio for comedy, mystery, and even the news. Well I have found the greatest place on the internet where you can listen to all these old programs, learn things through audio files on the computer and even have famous books read to you. You can listen to these in your car or at home, by recording them also, and I thought I would share it with you.
There are over 500 free audio and video files available for downloading in several formats including MP3's which make it easy for you to transport these about anywhere you go, in your car or on a player. There are files on film, music, radio, TV, pop culture, plus business, history, short stories, poetry. politics, science technology, biographies medicine, learn a language, religion, travel and much more.
I even found a place that teaches you how to record your own Audio, if you want to make a book or send your voice to someone. Of course I was fascinated with the old Orson Wells broadcasts, one of which is War Of The Worlds. It was the one that almost caused a panic years ago when it came on the radio and everyone thought we were really being invaded. All his Mystery Theaters and Campbell Theater programs are listed here free to download, as well as voice lesson, guitar lesson, how to speak Chinese, Shakespeare's plays, Beowolf (that was recently made into a movie),and so many things it is hard to tell you about all of them in this one article. Even the Bible is here for you to listen too in your spare time.
This is not just for adults either as they have some wonderful things for children as well. There is Alice In Wonderland, even the kids and youth version of the Bible for your children to listen to if you so desire. A Christmas Carole is also online for you to listen to with the holidays coming up.
There are things you can also buy, if you prefer, and is a combination of many amazing things that they offer on audio tape. All in all this is a wonderful site to just browse ans you can listen to samplers, to see what you are getting if you do not want to buy with out a trial. There are podcasts and over 15,000 things you can choose from in their catalog
This wonder place is online at:

I hope you will enjoy your trip here as much as I did.
