Kids love playing video games and playing games on computers. Its even better when you can find free games for your kids to play. Here are the ten best on-line games for kids, and why they are the best. The best part about most of these sites is that most of them have educational games so you can feel good about your children playing these games.

10. UpToTen This site is aimed at kids from 6-10 years old. It has tons of different games on it. The are all grouped according to categories. The only bad thing about this site is that some of the games are really basic and kinda boring for the kids, so its a good thing that they have a lot of different ones because they probably won't play one of them for too long.

9. Fun Brain This is a great site that has both educational games and games just for fun. The are all grouped in categories such as Math arcade, reading, arcade, and playground. The thing I like best about this site is it asks what grade your child is in, and gears the game specifically to the skill level of your child. When your child is playing there games you get a codeword so they can continue next time where they left off. This site is geared to all children from kindergarten to 8th grade.

8. Kaboose This site features games mainly just for fun. It has some more familiar games like hangman, and trivia. The one thing that I don't like about this site is I saw more advertising on this site compared to most. The games on this site have a lot of music and are very entertaining, they even got me playing some of them.

7. Squigly's games These are fun games and many of them have an educational twist. Some of these games you will have to download if you want to play them, but there are a bunch that you don't have to download. These games are mainly aimed at older children, some are even good for working the brains of adults.

6. Prongo This site has games organized by three different age groups 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12. The have some games that a lot of fun, you just have to look though them for the fun ones. I like that they have games for such young children.

5. Alfy This is a good site geared for older kids. Its a good website with a lot of activities besides just games. The games on this site are fun, and will keep kids interested.

4. PBS Kids This is a great site because it has educational games based on characters thats kids know and love. The site also has music and coloring areas for kids.

3. Crayola This site has a lot of fun games that mainly have to deal with color. This is a great website for kids because in addition to the games they have a card maker, and a lot of other activities for kids.

2. NogginNoggin has the slogan "its like preschool on TV" and thats what their games are all about. They have a lot of educational games based on many popular characters like Dora, Blue, Diego, and many other ones. This site is mainly aimed at preschool kids. I think this is a great site and it has a lot of entertaining games that fit into a lot of different categories. This is a very close second, to my favorite site.

1. Sesame Workshop This is by far my favorite site for kids. Obviously Sesame Street is all about learning, so its a great site for kids to love. There are several games on this site and they are all based around your kids favorite characters such as Elmo, Zoe, and Ernie. Its nice that if your kids are going to be playing games on the computer that they are educational games. There are different categories for the games for learning ABC's, Numbers, Shapes, Dot to Dot, and sorting. These are my daughters favorite games on-line, and I love that while she has fun she is learning.
