Free Online Gaming Options & Websites

What better way to kill some time than to play online games? Better yet, FREE online games! There are a multitude of websites that offer free online games with a wide variety of options available for the many different gamers out there. A few things that I look for in online games are ease of use, no registration required, and multiple game choice varieties. I have found several different websites offering free online games that meet each of these criteria.

The first site that I really like is Arcadelist.com. This website offers at least 500 different free online games for every age range. Games are sorted in several different ways to giving the gamer multiple ways to search for games that suit their tastes. Games are sorted by top games, new games, game types, exclusive, and recommended games. The games are easy to use as you simply click on the game and it is played through the internet so no need to download anything to your computer. There are several games available for download but you certainty do not have to download any games to enjoy the site. A few of the online games that are on Arcadelist.com that I enjoy are Bake Sale & Mansion Impossible. My only complaint about this site is that there are several games on here that are not appropriate for younger children yet they are easily accessible for them.

The second online game site that I enjoy is the USA Today puzzle site. While it certainly does not offer as many games as some of the other sites, I feel the quality of their online games is superior to many others and trustworthy. Most people are familiar with the USA Today crossword puzzle which is available online; however, USA Today also offers several other puzzles through their online game site. Other games include Sudoku, Quick Cross, Up & Down words, and one of my favorites, Word Round Up. Most of the games on this site allow you to save your place so that you can come back and finish later. They also offer different skill levels and hints. While the games are challenging they are not impossible which I find to be another plus.

The final online game site that I recommend is Addictinggames.com. This site is very similar to Arcadelist.com in the game options as well as layout of the home page. It sorts the games that are offered by different categories such as sport, action, adventure games & puzzles. It also lists top games and new games. The only drawback to this website is that you have to view advertising prior to playing the games. The advertising is quick and again the games are worth the small delay. A few of the games on this site do require downloading but the majority are quick clicks to play the online games.

Overall, the internet offers a wide variety of sources of free online games. There is easily something available that will suit everyone's preferences in online gaming.
