Free Palo Alto Shuttle gets new look unveiled November 22
Neighborhood: Palo Alto
Palo Alto, CA 94340
United States of America
Sometimes things are as plain as the nose on your face, and you may still be unaware of it. Such is the case with the Palo Alto Shuttle Service. The City of Palo Alto provides a free shuttle service that many residents are still unacquainted with. That is why two of the shuttles are getting a dramatic facelift-- to make them stand out on the road.

Monday November 22, 2010 at 10:15am the City is showcasing two of the shuttles that have undergone an artistic transformation. Each bus is covered with photos and graphics designed to draw attention to the shuttles, made possible by the creative efforts of Theodore Mock Photography, Harrington Design, and Tango Graphics, as well as City workers.

Unveiling of the two buses will take place at "King Plaza at Palo Alto City Hall, 250 Hamilton Avenue in Palo Alto. The community is invited to attend," according to City officials.

Where to catch the Palo Alto Free Shuttle
The shuttle stops at regular VTA bus stops, just look for the special sign "Palo Alto Shuttle". There are also decals around the routes on stop sign poles.

How to ride the Palo Alto Free Shuttle
When you see a shuttle coming, wave it down. When you get on the shuttle, let the driver know where you need to get off. Just before your stop, "remind the driver" that you want the next stop.
