Free Panties and How to Get Them

If you do laundry every week like clockwork, the average woman technically only needs around ten pairs of underwear (7 for the week, 3 just in case). If you know any woman who only has ten pairs of panties, then you might know the only one. We love underwear. Even more, we love free underwear!

Victoria's Secret understands our love and they in turn love to give us free panties. Sure it's a ploy to get us into the store to see and impulse buy other wonderful items, but with a simple ounce of discipline you too can be riding the free panty wagon. All you need is the VS Angel Card.

The Angel Card is Victoria's Secret's credit card. It can actually be used in other specific places such as Bath and Body Works and FTD.com, though you don't get reward points for using it elsewhere. Once you sign up and get approved, you receive a sparkly little card in the mail with a packet of coupons to be used in the next 6 months. Some of these include free panties, special bra offers, etc. You are on your way!

Once you use up your offers, and probably beforehand, you will start to receive free panty coupons in the mail. Over this last summer alone, I have received 3 different ones, for example. These coupons also sometimes offer $10 off a bra, but there is no minimum purchase required. You can skip the bra, get the panties and prance away with your tiny perfumed bag at no cost.

Be sure to read the back of your coupon carefully because you could be disappointed to learn upon arriving at the store that you have a very limited selection of colors. The majority of free panty coupons only allow you to pick from the VS Cotton line in a solid nude, light pink, white, or black color. You'll develop a taste for a style and a particular color as a default, but this is a great time to get those specific-outfit essentials. Being forced to spend money on unpretty undies just because you love white pants is really lame. The good thing is that the VS Cotton series comes in a wide variety of fits, from boyshort to thong to bikini, so there's no reason you can't find something that is useful.

In addition to the regular panty coupons, every now and then you'll receive an "any color" coupon. These are great because Victoria's Secret is always coming out with cute prints for their VS Cotton series and you get to have some fun! These coupons might still exclude extras like lace, but if you read the back you know exactly what to look for.

Another way to glean free panties from the VS Angel Card is to spend some money. Now, every year on your birthday you get a $10 gift card, but you can also gain these rewards by gaining points. For every 250 points, you get a $10 reward. Some items earn double points, so you don't usually have to spend 250 bucks to get another reward. Plus by this time you've already hoarded a week's supply of free underwear and you're just not that worried about it. Do spend a little bit every twelve months to keep your account active in their system, but wait until they drop the famous "40% off a single clearance item" bomb. It's by far my favorite coupon, though every year they do seem to get more creative.
