Free Porn on the Internet: Is This a Good Thing or Not?

Now, before the conservative nay-sayers start blasting me for even having the audacity to discuss free porn and adult movies in a public article, hear me out. There is a method to my madness. It's inevitable, in almost every relationship, that one partner is going to have a higher sex drive than the other. That rule applies to all relationships, regardless of your sexuality. There are just times you'll be in the mood and your partner isn't and vice versa. Now, before you start proclaiming adult movies and xxx video as sick and unhealthy, think about this scenario:

It's been weeks or months since you and your male partner have made love. He's obviously getting the itch, but you just can't seem to help him...you're just NOT in the mood. You worry that he's going to get a wandering eye, but you don't know what to do about it. It's not as simple as just telling him to keep it in his pants, because very few men with healthy sex drives have the discipline to do that for very long. And, believe it or not, taking care of business in the shower gets old pretty quickly too. (Remember what happened to Kevin Spacey in American Beauty!) You know he needs some kind of outlet, but you cringe at the thought of him signing on to a chat site or cruising message boards where he could possibly find someone looking for a little IRL (in real life) action.

Tell him to check out www.pornotube.com. It's basically YouTube's perverted uncle; users post all kinds of video clips and pictures that cover everything from amateur to vanilla to acts that I don't even know how to spell let alone describe. It's a free porn bonanza. It's all there and it's all free. You don't have to worry about wracking up tons of charge card debit just to find a little tension release. Best of all, if he's safe at home looking at adult videos on Pornotube, then he's not out looking for another warm body. It may not be a permanent solution to your sexual problems, but it can help ease the frustration you both feel during times when you're unable to coordinate your desires.

The only downside to the site that I see is that the age verification system is a little flimsy. Basically you enter your date of birth and agree to a waiver that states that you're using the site as an adult. While I'd hate to see the site have to start charging users for an age verification system, I'd hate even more to see it get taken offline by parents who discover their teenagers are lying about their age to get free porn.

As a lengthy aside, I personally that parents need to be the ones to take responsibility for what their children are doing on the Internet and not leave it up the government or big business to make those kind of personal decisions for all of us. There are plenty of inexpensive software pages out there to completely block sites like Pornotube, and even more so, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at your child's browsing history and figure out what they've been up to. Parents need to take the lead in monitoring what their children do so that the rest of us ADULTS have the freedom to access the sites of our choosing without paying an arm and a leg. But, all ranting aside, that's the good and bad of it. The good news is that it's a completely free site for adult entertainment - which is an increasing rariety in this day and age - but, I'm certain that sooner or later someone will come along to put us all under mouse arrest and the site will have to start charging for age verification. Even if porn isn't to your taste, it could still be a lifesaver for your relationship and shouldn't be so quickly dismissed as "sick and disgusting entertainment for perverts."
