Free, Printable Animal Masks for Kids

With fall, especially Halloween, and winter coming up, having your kids make animal masks can help take away their boredom. The free printable animal masks for kids can be used for boy and girl scout troupes as projects for badges, for birthday party activities, and for day care activities.

For anyone who home school their children, the animal masks could be used as an art class project. Later they can use the masks to learn about animals in Biology or with where the animals have originated from.

Activity Village Printable Masks

Activity Village has ten free printable masks for kids. The masks include a pig, dog, kitten, mouse, duckling, bear, rabbit, elephant, frog, and monkey. The masks load in PDF and can be printed from there.

Free Printable Dinosaur Milk Jug Mask.

You and your kids can create a dinosaur mask from plastic milk jugs. The milk jug dinosaur mask can be used for a wall hanging if the child prefers to use it after Halloween. Using your empty milk jugs for this kids craft is another way you can recycle those empty milk jugs.

Panda Mask.

Create a paper plate panda mask for a Halloween costume or for hanging on the wall as part of an animal theme bedroom for your children. The instructions for the panda mask are free to print. They are easy to make. This would be an easy craft for preschoolers and kindergartners.

King of the Jungle - Lion Mask.

The lion animal mask can be used in the same manner as the panda mask listed above. This mask can also be used in a jungle theme bedroom or playroom for kids. Also, these masks can be used to create an animal play for kids with your kids and their friends being the star.

Paper Mache Animal Masks.

The paper mache masks are for older kids to make. This particular set of masks can be used as a teaching tool in the arts. They can also be used in studying animals and their habitats for home schooled children or in an art class.

These masks could also be used as Halloween decorations for inside and outside. If the masks are going to be hung outside, they will need to be covered with protective lacquer.
