Free Printable Christmas Holiday Decorations

Finding yourself cash-strapped this holiday season? No extra funds for decorations? If you like filling your home with Christmas cheer but can't afford to, you need free printable Christmas decorations and crafts. Print from your computer for inexpensive holiday decor. These make great children's craft projects, too. Want to get double the fun from these crafts? Print in black and white and color them yourself.

Noella Designs is one-stop free holiday decor at it's best. Click each of the links on this page and your browser will open a new page with the printable craft pages and instructions. There's a 33" Santa's sleigh, complete with eight tiny reindeer. Use this as a banner, tabletop decoration, window swag or doorway garland. You might even weave it around your Christmas tree.

Scroll down for a 12" 3D cut and paste Christmas tree centerpiece, too. There's a snow angel and bluebird couple, plus a stand-up Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus to people your holiday decor. Don't miss the snowflakes, door hangers, hanging ornaments and reindeer candy holder, either. My favorite is the complete cut and paste Christmas village, though I am very partial to the 22" holiday train, too. Set the train up on the dining room table around the holiday village and fill the little cars with candies. Want a longer train? Print extras of the boxcar patterns.

The site creators recommend printing the decorations on at least 110# card stock. This will make your decorations sturdier. They'll last for years to come if you store them carefully. It's recommended that you collapse them each year and store them in a folder or zippered bag (to keep individual pieces together). Card stock crafts assemble better if you use a sharp X-acto knife to score the cardboard. Scoring creates perforated paper which can be used like punch-outs for children. Another recommendation is to use very sharp craft scissors if the crafter is an adult.

Kids home from school for the holidays will love doing this too. Homeschooling? Reward kids for a job well done with Christmas crafts. With some assistance, special needs students can enjoy these crafts too. I've taught senior citizen craft classes; these holiday projects would make a big hit in senior homes and activity centers. Again, some disabled seniors may need some assistance.
