I know I often forget many things I need to get at the grocery store without making a list. So I make my grocery lists, sometimes take them with me, and sometimes forget them at home.
The best thing about when I remember to take my grocery lists with me is I don't forget anything I need to get from the store. The bad thing is when I forget my grocery list, I buy more than I need to. By doing this, I am wasting money from buying to much of items we won't use before they go bad.
I don't know about you, but I want to kick myself when that happens. The reason is because of other things I could have done with the money I just threw in the trash can due to spoiled food.
When I realize how much food and money I just threw out, even if it's just a couple of dollars, I think I could have put that $2 in a savings account. Think about what you could do with all the money that you would save by using a grocery list and sticking to it.
If you are like me, there are probably thousands of things that you could think of with all the money you could save. Maybe thousands is stretching it a bit, but I bet you could list at least 50 things in just a few minutes.
No matter the reason you decide, the free, printable grocery lists in this article can help you save money, keep your spending under control, and help keep from throwing your money in the trash. Wouldn't that be worth using any of these lists?
