Free, Printable Madagascar Catchers
When I saw the Madagascar Cootie Catchers, I had to laugh. I remember the "Ewww, they got cooties." from school. I am not sure if the cooties phrase is still going around with kids today, but these cootie catchers are cute. There are other types of catchers from the Madagascar movies available.
I remember making these paper craft projects in school. Back then we used them for boyfriend and friend catchers. I don't think they were called catchers back in the 70's though. We use to write inside the folds the answers that corresponded to the number or name on the outside fold. The Kai-lan Fortune Teller is like the ones we use to do when I was a kid.

There are some things I have found on the internet have reminded me of some of the things I had done during my childhood. When I find these things, like these catchers, I wonder how many others remember these types of things from their childhood and would like to share them.
It doesn't matter if you really remember them or not, I still think they are worth sharing with everyone. Sometimes, these types of crazy childhood trends find their way back around sooner or later.
