When I was a kid, my grandfather, who was newspaper pressroom foreman, showed me how to fold hats from newspaper. Can I remember now? No. But fortunately, there's internet. Here are free printable templates, patterns and activities for paper hats.

Enchanted Learning (click here) has all sorts of free printable activities. To get the free printable crafts, hats, masks and toys to print without a banner, you can make a $20 site donation. This one of the best spent $20 purchases I've ever made. It enables you to access thousands of free printable lesson plans, classroom crafts, charts, booklets, diagrams and activities. Check out this page I've linked to for dozens of free printable hat templates.

SS42.com (click here) is an awesome website with lots of free printable paper hats in several styles. There are free printable paper baseball hats, monster head, zombies, vampire, spider web and pumpkin hats. There are free printable paper animal hats with noses and bills to go with your animal costume. There are free printable duck, turkey and cat hats. There is also a free printable bucket hat to design and color yourself.

Here is a free printable paper party hat from KIds' Craft Zone (click here). You know, the pointy kind of hat that attaches with a rubber band. The linked article provides the free printable paper hat template and complete instructions on how to make and decorate. What a fun DIY birthday party craft.

Next, Paper Glitter (click here) has gobs of super adorable free printable party supplies; free printable Christmas present gift tags, Halloween party labels for treat bags and party invitations, party invitations with envelopes, to-do lists, greeting cards, paper dolls and yup, a free printable party hat to cut and paste. Paper Glitter says that their free printable craft activities are 'Kawaii' (which is Japanese for 'cute') and they certainly are. I'm a big kid, but I'd love to play and create at Paper Glitter.
