The Princess Bride is a bedtime story told to a young Fred Savage by his grandfather played by Peter Falk.

Princess Buttercup and her farm boy Westley battle bullies and horrors in the mythical land of Florin. From the Cliffs of Insanity to RUS (Rodents of Unusual Size) in the Fire Swamp; from Count Rougen's Pain Machine in the Pit of Despair to Yiddish Miracle Max's hut, Westley and Buttercup encounter thrills and chillis. They are aided in their adventure by their commrades Fezzig the Giant and Indigo Montoya, a Spanish swordsman on his quest for the six fingered man who killed his father. Along the way, they meet the oily Prince of Florin, a quirky Albino, a fast-talking stuttering Sicilian and my favorite character, The Impressive Clergyman. All in the name of True Love.
