'You know Dasher and Dancer, But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Here are free printable coloring pages from the Rankin-Bass Rudolph Christmas cartoon and Little Golden Books. Not part of the original eight reindeer in Clement C. Moore's A Visit From St. Nicholas poem, cowboy Gene Autry gave us Rudolph. A misfit little reindeer with an unusual nose that glowed bright red. But as with the stories of great heroic deeds that spring from bullied little outcasts, we find that Santa Claus cannot get his team out and his presents delivered without the help of misunderstood but brave little Rudolph. LIttle Golden Books came out with a story edition of Rudolph and later Rankin-Bass made a full-length feature Christmas cartoon about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
