Learning Spanish as a second language doesn't have to be hard. In many high schools and colleges, learning a second language has become part of the core curriculum. My daughter has had to have a foreign language class in high school and college. She chose to continue her Spanish as her foreign language as part of her college core classes.
There are 24 free printable worksheets at Home Education Resources. Each of the worksheets allows the user to interact with various verbs, translating from Spanish to English, learning the seasons, days and months, and many other activities.
The First School website has the basic alphabet with corresponding words in both upper and lowercase letters. The free alphabet sheets are printable in poster, coloring, and tracer format on the main page.
Spanish Activity Books and Worksheets for the Alphabet
This section at First School has each letter of the alphabet in different worksheets and activities to practice even further learning words with each letter.
The Study Spanish website has nine units to study the language course. Each unit is created for each of the various grammar aspects of the language in the same manner as the English language. The total lessons are 103 sections.
This site has written tests, podcasts, oral tests, and final tests for each of the sections in the units of study. Each section is online. However, you are able to print each of the pages. You can register on this site to record the scores for free or pay a premium.
Not only speaking the language is a great idea, but being able to write it can help with translating text from one source to another. In today's society, it seems to have become essential to learn another language outside of the one you commonly use.
With these sites, anyone can learn a second language from the comforts of their home. Practicing this language in the comfort of your home, at your own speed, can help speak this language with ease.
