As a teacher, when kids lost a tooth in the classroom, they would be so excited not only because they lost their tooth but also because they knew they would receive a small little plastic tooth holder necklace from me to hold their tooth in and a tooth fairy certificate.
A child that lost a tooth in our classroom were told to come to my desk to be presented with the tooth holder necklace and a special tooth fairy certificate with their name and the date written on it by me. The child was then allowed to go in front of the classroom if they choose to show and tell their tooth and their tooth fairy certificate.
I always printed tooth fairy certificates from the internet, I would typically print off about 20 copies of the free printable tooth fairy certificates at the beginning of the school year and then file the certificates in my file cabinet so they were ready to go when I needed them.
