Planning a New Year's Eve or New Year's Day party? How do you keep kids happily productive and prepare for the party? Why not involve children in the holiday decoration making? Here are free printable New Year's crafts, games and activities. I've tested these links and they user-friendly. For best results, set your printer preferences to 'fast,economical'. You can save lots of money on printing ink and still get a nice quality print-out.

Making Friends (click here) This charming website offers free printable crafts, templates, patterns and how to guides for children. Easy to follow instructions, complete guides and lots of free printable color, cut and paste fun.

Apples 4 the Teacher (click here) This is a great website for parents, teachers, homeschoolers, librarians and activity coordinators. Apples 4 the Teacher has free printable New Year's crafts, calendars, games, word search, jigsaw puzzles, lesson plans, history, coloring pages, trivia games and activities.

Free Kids Crafts (click here) has a whole page of links for free printable crafts, games, lessons and activities for New Year's parties. Free Kids Crafts also has an interactive calendar that is updated daily with a new craft for the day. You can access the archived crafts for days past, also. Definitely a craft website to book mark and check daily.

The Toymaker (click here) has two free printable vintage paper craft activities for kids to color, cut and paste. There is a free printable New Year's Resolution penny box to make. Children can practice the value of saving. There is a also a New Year's booklet to print, assemble and read together.

Family Fun (click here) is an excellent resource for free printable crafts, games and activities for any holiday or season. The New Year's activities are listed under Winter printables. There are coloring pages and holiday decorations to print, color and assemble.
