I realize many people may know of someone in a nursing home, assisted living center, a homebound person or anyone of this nature may find sending a card to them may make their day. I know a lot of people like this myself. Most of them don't like to get out during the winter because of the weather. I know they like receiving a card from time to time, even from someone they may hardly know or not at all, because it brightens their day. This is due to knowing that someone took a moment to think of them.

Sending a New Year's Day card to someone who has limited access to getting out and about can be therapeutic for them and us. I think we all should use the free, printable New Year's Day cards and send one to a person who can't get out.

I will probably "forget" about this before New Year's! Sounds like a wonderful resource.
