Reindeer crafts provide kids with the opportunity to celebrate the magic of Christmas. Allowing them to be creative keeps busy kids focused during those weeks leading up to the holidays and provides plenty of opportunities to incorporate learning at the same time. These easy crafts are perfect for the classroom as they are simple to make and are inexpensive too. Use as classroom decorations and then send home as gifts or keepsakes for parents.

Terracotta Reindeer Pots

These adorable reindeer made from hand prints atop a terracotta pot make a delightful table decoration or container to hold small gift items at Christmas. They are quick and easy to make from construction paper or craft foam. This is a great craft for young children and can even be completed by Kindergarteners with a little help from adults.

Footprint Reindeer

This reindeer is made by tracing the feet and hands and assembling to create a cheerful reindeer sure to please parents everywhere. The footprint serves as the face and hands are the antlers. This makes a great keepsake for parents. Don't forget to place the child's name and the date on the back. This activity is great for comparing sizes and for practrice in cutting and pasting.

Wearable Antlers

Whip up a set of reindeer antlers to ring in the holidays. This includes easy to follow instructions for making a simple headband with traced hands for antlers. These are sure to delight any youngster. Use for math time when teaching meauring and comparing sizes.
