Free Shipping Day 2010 is Today, Over 1,500 Stores Participating

Free Shipping Day 2010 is here today, December 17th. Over 1,500 merchants are participating with free shipping.

Those not finished with their holiday shopping can take advantage of it and ship for free. The list of merchants includes Disney, Toys R Us, Overstock.com, Old navy and L.L. Bean.

This is the third year Free Shipping Day has been offered. It was started by the website Freeshipping.org and delivery is still guaranteed by Christmas Day.

Though many sites already offer free shipping, there is usually a minimum purchase requirement in order to take use free shipping. On Free Shipping Day 2010 that minimum purchase requirement has been dropped.
