Mountain View residents using San Jose Minteta Airport during the holiday season have a new way of saving money. Our local Valley Transit Authority Bus Line 10--or as many know it as the "Airport Flyer"-is offering a free shuttle connection to the airport.

The free shuttle has two pick up points in Santa Clara County-the Santa Clara Transit Center, and the Metro Airport Light Rail Station.

On your return trip home, bus 10 stops at both terminal A and Terminal B at the "transit stop". The cost for short-term parking at Mineta is $30 a day and for long-term, $15. Taking the shuttle directly to the airport from one of these two stops can potentially save you a nice chunk of change this holiday. Just look for the head-sign on the Shuttle taking you to the appropriate destination.
