The next best historic site that you must see for free while you are in London is the Tower of London. Yes it is true this place has a very grim past but, it also has a most interesting one too. Like it once served as a Royal Palace and also a zoo. Tickets are free but must be book well in advance sometimes up to two months. The last on my list is the Royal Air Force Museum. It has over 100 aircraft and many other interactive attractions like a full on flight simulator for those of you that even dare. The museum has a lot of information about the battle of Britain and then moving further into modern day.
