Free Sterling Silver Jewelry

Silverjewelryclub.Com VS Silverjewelry.Com

When I first stumbled across a site that claims to give away free sterling silver jewelry to anyone, with no limit I thought it was just another "to good to be true" scam. All they asked was that you pay the $6.95 shipping and handling fee. Well, for less then seven dollars, I figured I had nothing to lose. However, I wanted to know a little bit more before I jumped in head first. I started asking around, and found yet another site with the same deal. The reviews were mixed, some warn to not waste your money, while others praised these sites. In the end I decided to see for myself, so I made several orders through both sites, and here is what I learned.

The first site I tried was www.silverjewelryclub.com. Their site offers 6 pieces of jewelry that changes every 15 minutes. 99% of the jewelry offered has a lab created stone in the piece. However, you know the cut, size, and caret of the stone before you buy the piece. You can also enter your email address, which will allow you to view upcoming pieces. I have not received any emails or spam mail from the company. Once you place an order you can check on it. Their site allows you to see when your order was processed, and when it was shipped. In all I have ordered a total of four rings, one charm and a chain. There isn't a size selection for the rings, however the size is posted. I have seen sizes 5 - 9. All four of the rings I ordered were fantastic. They are smaller, but not cheap looking. The charm was of good size, and weight but, the chain was thin. All of the pieces are stamped .925. The average wait for my order to arrive was only 3 to 5 days, which was wonderful. And they accept Paypal.

The second site is www.silverjewelry.com. The name is very close to the other site as you can see. This site also accepts Paypal, which is always great for those like me who worry about credit card fraud. You will also find that 99% of the jewelry on this site plain silver with no gems. They carry a variety of rings, anklets, chains, bracelets, charms, toe rings, and earrings. However they only list a few pieces at a time, and their pieces change every hour. You can also view upcoming pieces, when that portion of the site is up and running. I ordered a total of two charms, two chains, and one pair of dolphin earrings that my daughter fell in love with. A few days after I ordered I tried to check the order history site to see if my order was shipped only to find that it did not work. I then emailed the company through their contact link three different times, and I have never got a response. Three weeks later my order arrived. The two charms were nice, however one wasn't marked .925. Even though I ordered two identical chains I received two very different ones. One chain is 16" and the other is 20". One of the chains is a link chain, and the other a rolo chain. Both of the chains are very thin, but they were marked .925. The dolphin earrings I ordered turned out to be a turtle charm. The charm is alright, but it to was not stamped .925, and it also has a small piece of the shell missing at the bottom. This was just a flaw from the mold, but it could have been corrected. I contacted the company again to explain that my earrings were replaced with a turtle charm with no response. I have no way of shipping it back, so I'll just keep it.

In my opinion www.silverjewelryclub.com is a far better site for free sterling silver. At least you know exactly what you are getting, and the pieces are marked. However when your getting jewelry for less then $7.00 I guess its worth the risk either way. After all, there is nothing free in life.

It may be that you only got seven dollars worth of jewelry, if it was silver. Silver is $18 an ounce right now and you said the items were small and thin. It may be, also, that the jewelry you got wasn't really silver but nickel silver, or silver plated, or worse, a base metal shined up to look silvery. My motto is always "you get what you pay for."
