Free Storytimes for Children in Winston Salem and Greensboro, North Carolina

We all know how important it is to expose your children to books from a young age. Taking your children to the library or other types of storytimes will help your child develop a love for reading and learning. Free storytimes can be found throughout the triad area. Gather a friend, a neighbor or a group and head out for a great story. Some facilities offer crafts and refreshments during or after storytime.

Barnes & Noble offers free storytimes for children of all ages on different days of the week. Guests can visit the Greensboro, High Point or Winston Salem location. Winston Salem (336) 774-0800 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. on second Friday every month for Character Story Time. Greensboro (336) 854-4200 -10 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays 8 p.m. Fridays.
