Free Stuff for Dummies

Funsponge
The dictionary of the word free is to be given something without having to pay for it. If you look around you can find many basic things that you can get for free everyday such as water and food. You can get free water from water fountains, restaurants, grocery stores, or even public bathrooms (just kidding). At most grocery stores you can even get free coffee and food samples. I know of many people who only go to the grocery store to eat free samples. Sams is the most popular grocery store that serves free food samples daily. Publix is also a good grocery store to eat free food. They have free coffee, cookies (which are mainly for kids), and samples of home cooked dinners.

You can find free stuff all around you especially on the Internet. The Internet is full of free stuff. You can get clothes, food, music, movies and etc just by answering a few questions. I just started looking on the internet and I already received food samples, a bottle opener, Obama sticker and button, ten dollars, and t-shirts. I search for free stuff in my spare time when I'm bored. It's a little hobby of mine now. I can afford all these things but its amazing what you can get for free. All you need is an email address. Sometimes the companies giving out the free stuff might want your phone number but you can give them a fake number if you don't want them calling you 24/7.

Not everything online is free. Just because they say it's free doesn't mean it's actually free. They might tell you to fill out a simple survey to get a free restaurant gift card. After the survey, you have to sign up for one of their many offers to get the free gift card. One of the offers might be to join a book club or movie rental club for only a small monthly fee. You sign up for the offer but it still doesn't mean you'll get the gift card. It's a scam that is commonly used online. They try to fool you by telling you that you'll get a free phone, or laptop, or gift card if you just fill out a simple survey. If it was that easy then everybody would be running around with free phones and laptops. But it's not that easy. Nobody actually gets the free phones or laptops. It's just a new way that people are getting bamboozle.

There are several ways you can tell if the product you are signing up for is actually free. If they do not ask you fill out a simple survey, then the product is definitely free. If all they want is your name and address, then it is not a scam. They actually want to send you something for free. Little things like pens, food samplings, key chains, buttons, and stickers are always definitely free. So if you are signing up for a free pen, don't worry. It is not a scam. Never give out your credit card information when signing up for something free. You risk being charge unknown fees.

Now that you have all the information about online free stuff, you can safely surf the internet for actually free stuff. Remember my advice and you too will be receiving wonderful things to add to your free stuff collection.
