Farmers Market Summer Music Series
When: Thursday and Friday nights
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Where: 6333 W. Third St. (at Fairfax) Los Angeles, CA West Patio.
Thursday night features a variety of Jazz (Latin, Country, Hip-Hop). Friday night showcases Blues, Salsa, Rock and more. Review Schedule. Last concert September 10th.
Wine & Jazz Concert
When: Tuesdays
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Where: Hollywood and Highland. Babylon Central Courtyard level 2.
Host by KJAZZ 88.1 FM, the concert is free, for a $10 donation you will also get two glasses of wine and an assortment of gourmet cheeses, crackers and fruit to enjoy during the performance. Your donation supports the Project Angel Food charity. There's only two weeks left, performances include Lucy Woodard, and Oscar Hernandez & The LA-NY Connection. Review Schedule.
Culver City Music Festival
When: Thursday 8/26
Time: 7pm
Where: 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City, CA. City Hall Courtyard.
Closing night of the festival, performances include The John Jorgenson Quintet all-star Nashville band, and parking is free.
CONTRA-TIEMPO Free Salsa Sundays
When: Sunday 8/29
Time: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Where: 8800 Venice Blvd, Culver City (at Helms Ave.)
Only one week left, this event is open to all ages, all levels of experience, singles and partners. Workshops will include a demonstration, salsa class taught by members of a professional company, and live drumming.
Levitt Pavilion Pasadena (Kids and Adults)
When: Wednesday through Sunday
Time: 7pm and 8pm
Where: Memorial Park, 85 E. Holly St, Pasadena
This free concert series includes Children's Night on Sunday's, and a variety of Latin, Jazz, Rock, and Classical music throughout the week. Performances include, Debi DerryBerry, Chuck Mead, Jayme Stone, and more. Last concert 8/29. Review schedule.
Santa Monica Pier
Twilight Dance Series
When: Thursdays
Time: 7pm
Where: Santa Monica Pier
Two concerts left includinig Beatlesfest, and Dr. John & the lower 911.
Throughout the day on Thursday, there will be Beatles karaoke, Beatles movies, memorabilia, the history of the Beatles, photo opportunities, food, the kids' zone at Pacific Park, celebrity appearances, radio personalities, raffles and much more.
Beatlesfest will also carry over into a festival Friday and Saturday 10am - 7pm.
9/2/10 is closing night with various New Orelans acts. Seating is not provided. Bring beach chairs and blankets. Review schedule.

Here in Northern Cal, there wasn't much summer this year... so the issues have been more about staying warm than staying hydrated!
