Shaw's is once again running their free turkey promotion for the Thanksgiving holiday season. You have to have signed up for a Shaw's Reward Card and use the card every time you checkout at Shaw's. Between 10/8/2010 and 11/18/2010 you will need to spend a total of $500 to be elegible for your free turkey coupon. Your $20 coupon for a turkey will be printed at the cash register as soon as you hit the magical $500. You have to use your free turkey coupon by 11/28/2010.

Not to be outdone by Shaw's, Food Lion has their own special free Thanksgiving 2010 turkey offer. Shop at Food Lion between 9/29/2010 and 11/23/2010, for at leaqst six out of the eight weeks, and make sure you spend at least $45 dollars each week. Oh, and make sure you use your Food Lion MVP card each time. You will receive a $15 coupon good toward your Thanksgiving turkey 2010. Your turkey coupon will print out at the cash register so be sure not to throw it away. And make sure use that $15 coupon by 12/7/2010.

The Orem Fitness Center in Utah will once again hold it's annual, fun-filled 2010 Earn Your Turkey Run. In 2009 they gave away over 170 turkeys and 60 pies that this event. This year they will feature the 4 mile run, a 2 mile health walk, and of course the kid's races. When you register for the event you will be entered in the drawing to be held after the races complete and during the food feasting.
