Look at a map of the Las Vegas strip and you'll notice that the casinos seem to be side by side. Looks are deceiving. If you've never been to Vegas be prepared to do some walking. The giant hotels and casinos are like small towns. Hours can be spent walking around and enjoying the architecture and design inside and out.
The fountains of Bellagio is a beautiful site that can be enjoyed from various places on the strip. The choreographed water show is set to music and is available for tourists to enjoy various times during the day. While at Bellagio, be sure to go inside and have a look at the one of a kind, rainbow of colors that comes alive in the chandelier located in the lobby. It is truly something you have to see to believe.
Located next door at Caesar's Palace, there are a variety of free experiences that can be enjoyed. The forum shops are a labyrinth of designer label after designer label. The average person could spend hours winding through more than 150 boutiques where window shopping is enjoyed by all. Stores include: Burberry, Fendi, Gucci, Harry Winston, and Louis Vuitton. A fountain show is also included in the walk through Caesar's forum shops. The Atlantis Fountain show mixes fire, water, and animatronic characters to bring the experience to life.
From shopping to volcanoes, Las Vegas is truly a unique destination. Next on the list of freebies is the erupting volcano of the Mirage. Located in the middle of the strip, the erupting volcano wows crowds multiple times daily.
Next, cross the street to enjoy the world of the Venetian. You'll feel like you're visiting Venice while you watch the gondolas float through the clear blue canals that weave in and out of this Italian based wonder. Can't get enough shopping? Visit the grand canal shoppes where statues come alive.
Finally, just across the way, the sirens of TI or Treasure Island put on a free show that will raise your temperature. Get there early for the best view and be careful of splash zones. There is fire, cannon balls, and sinking pirate ships, not to mention the sirens themselves. This is one of the best free shows in Vegas. With all of these free things to do, what happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but your money doesn't have to.
