Free Things to Do in Orlando, Florida

If you are visiting Orlando Florida you know that it seems that everything that you do with your family costs you money somehow. It may feel like you are always shelling out money for one thing or another while on vacation. To save some money there are some places that you can visit in Orlando that are free and will be fun for you and your family.

Go to the Big Tree Park and see the oldest and Biggest Tree. It's an old Cypress Tree and is the attraction in the free park. You can even bring a picnic lunch along for a relaxing day that doesn't cost you a thing.

You can also go and walk Disney's Boardwalk. This is a waterfront village that is recreation and it is full of Disney's entertainment style for the family that doesn't cost you anything to enjoy.

The Town of Celebration, Disney's little town with wonderful homes and fun for all to visit and enjoy themselves there.

Disney also has a Disney Downtown Market Place. You can shop Disney Store, and you can visit the Lego Imagination Center and playground for kids. Your kids will have a great day there playing with all the Lego's in all different colors.

Lake Wales is the home of the old Indian legend of Spook Hill. Here is where your car will roll uphill when you put it in neutral and shut the car off, at that moment your car will roll up the hill not down the hill.

Ocala National Forest is a place you can canoe, picnic and see the old hardwood forest along with swamps. This is free entry into the forest. And it is a wonderful way to spend the day with your children and have a relaxing day and have a great time spending time with your family.

You don't have to spend money every day that you are on vacation there are many things that you can do while on vacation and not spend any money. Before you go on vacation you will want to check out that area that you are going to and see what that town offers for free that will provide entertainment for you and your family. It's also a good ideal to check out just incase it's a rainy day and you are not able to do what you had planned. Doing something free will not break your vacation budget.
