St. Louis Zoo
Located inside Forest Park is the St. Louis Zoo. Free admission for all ages this Zoo is so big you could spend all day walking and still not see everything. There are rabbits you can play with and pet while watching the zoo keepers making food and feeding animals through glass. St. Louis Science Center
This is one of the neatest places in St. Louis for kids. Almost everything here is hands on. Push a button to see how water affects the environment. Walk up to a dinosaur and see him moving and making noise. Visit the ends of the Earth and see there planetarium. You won't be able to get the kids from the Discovery Room after the 45 minute session exploring different interactive exhibits. Walk across the highway and look down at the cars passing you. Use the radar guns and see how fast the cars are moving. Then walk through the ground and see how pipes are laid and how an old mine used to look. Wrap your day up with a free interactive presentation on Center Stage on the Science Center's lower level.
