Free Throw Pillow Patterns for Your Home

Karen Barnes
I have made a few throw pillows for my home over the years. The throw pillows aren't hard to make. By making your own throw pillows, you can choose the fabrics for them. Sometimes you run across a fabric you like, but sometimes don't know what you would make with it.

Some throw pillows are made for a kids room; while others are made for a sophisticated adult bedroom. There are throw pillows that can be made for the living room or eating nook in a kitchen.

It really doesn't matter where you want to place the homemade throw pillows, what matters is the fun and enjoyment you will have creating your own decor for home. Not everyone likes the throw pillows found in stores. This is due to the colors of the fabrics and the shapes and sizes of the pillows.

I know there have been times I found a certain style of pillow I liked, but didn't like the color or the fabric the pillow was made in. Sometimes I have found the opposite to be true. I like the fabric and color, but didn't like the shape and size of the pillow.

By making your own throw pillows, you can make the shape, size, color, and use the fabric you want. This way you won't have to compromise your taste.
