Translation
Go to any tidal body of water during low tide.
Collect 2 items from its shore.
Build 2 piles of sand or earth, placing the items you collected at the highest point f each pile.
Meditate by visualizing your desires until the tide come in and washes away the piles.

I really enjoyed this article! I think I need to spend more time getting in touch with nature and my feelings. Actually, focusing on "good" would be pretty helpful, too! :)
I do not practice Wicca nor do I believe in the definitions you speak of. The law of return in my personal craft is times 8. Sorry you feel as though I am "just wrong" but you are not judge and jury. Practicing witchcraft as I have for over 35 years the discovery is, there is no right and wrong. My craft was learned from trial and error from the archives of my family tree for over 300 years. I appreciate your commenting on the article I guess it will come to you only three times. Have a blessed day!
You also have one thing wrong it is the return of 3 - if you harm/hurt/injure/cause pain to another or do negative it is returned on you 3 fold. Not 8 times - but 3 times.

Some subscribe to a variant of this law in which return is not necessarily threefold." Sorry but wrong information and passing spells that are against the Rede is just wrong Janet.
I believe the Wiccan Rede states clearly that you cannot/should not perform this spell because you are not to harm anyone/thing and by binding someone to you can be harmful.
