I do weekly pro football game picks suitable for a office football pool as I don't do point spread predictions. Last week I sucked with a 6-6 record not counting the Monday Night game which hasn't been played at the time of this writing. I have an 85 and 37 record for NFL game predictions for the 2009 NFL season, and these are free game picks! And if you DO have a point spread question just leave it in the comments and I will get back to you.

Keep in mind that there is a Thursday game this week for you football bettors and fantasy football players. You need to get your office pools done early and or your week 10 fantasy football lineups. Thursday Game

Chicago at San Francisco

Both of these teams are up and down but the Bears defense is mostly down. I keep looking for Chicago to establish the run but can't or won't. This is a hard game pick for week 10 but when in doubt go with the home team. San Francisco wins 21 to 17 in a close one.

Week 10 Sunday Games

Detroit at Minnesota

This could be a trap game for the Vikes who are coming off a bye. But I just don't see the Lions pulling it off. Minnesota 28 Detroit 17.

Denver at Washington

The Redskins are just terrible and will keep sliding this week as well. Denver wins big 31 to 14 over the Washington Redskins in week 10.

Tampa at Miami

The Bucs got their first win in rookie Josh Freeman's first start at quarterback when they beat Green Bay. Don't look for them to beat a very solid Miami Dolphins team though. Miami will win 24 to 10.

Buffalo at Tennessee

Two bad teams possibly headed in opposite directions. Giving Vince Young the nod over Kerry Collins has led to two straight Titan wins. It will be 3 straight after Tennessee beats Buffalo 24 to 14.

New Orleans at Saint Louis

This could actually be a close game as teams who can run the ball give the Saints the most trouble. Stephen Jackson could cause the Saints some issues but not much trouble. Saints 27, Rams 10.

Jacksonville at New York Jets

The Jets had week 8 off to lick their wounds after falling all to pieces after a good 2009 NFL start. The Jaguars have climbed back into respectability with a 4-4 record to match the Jets. Look for New York to get back to basics and run the ball often and well in a 20 to 13 win over the Jaguars.

Atlanta at Carolina

The Falcons have not really shown me much but the Panthers are playing hard and much better than earlier in the season. I still think John Fox should be fired as you can read here. But the Panthers will beat the Falcons 24 to 17.

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh

The Bengals have already swept the Ravens and beat the Steelers once. If they win this game it will put Cincinnati in the driver's seat in the division. I really like the Bengals but still have much faith in the Steelers. My free week 10 NFL game prediction is Steelers 24, Bengals 21.

Kansas City at Oakland

The Chiefs cut long time running back Larry Johnson not that he was helping them. The team sucks and the Chiefs staff is good at screaming but not so good at coaching. But at least they are not the Raiders. KC beats their arch rival in Oakland 17 to 14.

Dallas at Green Bay

The Cowboys tend to let down after big games and coming off a win over the Eagles was a big one. Green Bay will be looking for some respect after dropping one to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. My upset pick for week 10 of the 2009 NFL season, Packers 34, Cowboys 24.

Philadelphia at San Diego

The Chargers knocked off the Giants and the Eagles dropped one to the Cowboys last week. I am not sold on San Diego other than having a great quarterback in Phillip Rivers. I think the Eagles take one on the west coast 27 to 21.

Seattle at Arizona

The Seahawks have been a beat up team for the last 2 seasons or would offer more of a threat to the Cardinals. Somebody is always mad at somebody in Arizona, now it's Anquan Boldin at coach Whisenhunt. Larry Fitzgerald and Kurt Warner are on the same page again or so it seems. Arizona 28, Seattle 10.

New England at Indianapolis

The Colts are undefeated thanks mostly to Peyton Manning who should be the 2009 NFL MVP. They can't run the ball or stop the run very well but they can pass the hell out of it. Tom Brady is back to his old self and Coach Belicheck is still the best coach in the NFL. Tom Brady against Peyton Manning in week 10 of the 2009 NFL season. Brady has more of a team around him than Manning does. The Patriots end the Colts dream of an undefeated season, 42 to 35.

Monday Night Game

Baltimore at Cleveland

I have no idea why this is on Monday Night Football. I guess the powers that be didn't know how bad the Browns would be. I almost want to pick Cleveland but can't make myself do it. Baltimore 21, the Cleveland Browns 13.
