Freebies: How to Get Free Samples and Other Free Stuff

Ms. Wettin
Do you enjoy getting your mail everyday? For most people, the answer to this question is a resounding no. The pile of bills mixed with junk mail is not very exciting for most. However, for those of us who have discovered how to get free samples and things sent to our home, getting the mail is a very exciting part of an otherwise mundane day.

Everyday I wait with great anticipation to see what my mail person will bring me that day. More days than not, I am excited to discover a few goodies in my mailbox. (That is, if it all fits in there. Many days my mail person must leave my mail on the porch because it will not all fit in my mailbox.) I am also treated to gifts from my local UPS and FedEx delivery people on occasion. Once in awhile, I am even lucky enough to find great things like Amazon gift certificates in my e-mail in-box.

Some of the free stuff I have received in the past year includes: t-shirts, board games, books, DVDs, ashtrays, candy, and potato chips. I have also received person care items, such as: razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, hair styling cream, hair dye, soap, and lotions.

You may be wondering why someone would be giving away all this stuff for free. In today's dog eat dog business world, companies are looking for any way to get a competitive advantage. For many companies, if they believe they have a great product, they are willing to give out free samples in hopes that the consumer will enjoy the product and purchase it in the future. Many companies include coupons with their samples, to make that first purchase a bit easier too.

Are you wondering how you, too, can make every mail day seem a bit like Christmas with a mail box full of free samples and other goodies?

NOT FREE... There is always a gimmick. Freight charges get you in the door - then your name is published to every yeah-who who wants it, or you can try the $1.00 freight - that has an attached $39.95 monthly change. NO THANKS
