Freedom, Who's Really Free?

Nothing Can Stop Me, but Me

Lodie Quezada
Freedom, who's really free,

Do you see the angels watching over me, why I am moved by what I don't see,

Freedom, who's really free, freedom, who's really free.

I have a house, but in need of a home, I can sing, but I don't have a microphone.

I am a queen without a castle, a job without demand, will somebody please give me

a hand.

I am a car, without an engine, a head without hair, I can't take this anymore, let me out, and I need some air.

I am a joke without laughter, a mouth without teeth, my life seem to be full of defeat.

I am a life without purpose, macaroni without cheese, all these problems are about to bring me to my knees.

I am gift that brings no pleasure, a phone that does not ring, and now they cry about the songs that I sing.

I am a chair without legs, a body without a head, either I,m getting weak, or some will say, I look like a freak.

How can I turn my world around, turn my mind and make it sound.

How do I challenge my defeat?

Freedom, which's free, I am free, and it is not because of me,

It is because the price Jesus paid over two thousand years ago,

I am free, I am free, and the only person who is hindering me, is me.

I change my mind, the way I talk; now when you see me, I have a new walk.

It did not take long, all I did was ask God to make me strong, He did not call me any names, He said child you are healed, you are not the same,

Free,who's free, me!
