Many people are looking for freelance writing gigs that pay per article so that they can make some money for Christmas presents. There are many sites that will pay per article or project upon completion and many of these places will pay to your paypal account. If you don't have a paypal account, go to www.paypal.com. You can sent up an account and begin receiving payments immediately. When you are ready to withdraw your funds, you can either request a check for $1.50 fee or provide your bank account information for a direct deposit.

Here are some of the sites that will pay per article or after completion of a project.

Associated Content: Sign up for an account and start submitting articles immediately. You can be paid an upfront payment as well as a performance bonus. The pay for upfront is pretty low but if you write consistently, the pay adds up. You also get a bonus for page views you receive for your article. For every 1,000 page views you receive $1.50. You can also choose to submit your content exclusively or non-exclusively. Exclusively means that you won't be able to publish your content elsewhere. Non-exclusive means that it can be published somewhere other than AC. Exclusive articles pay a bit more.

Brijit: This site will have a listing of media that they need 100 word abstracts written. You pick the articles, shows or other media that you would like to write an abstract for and submit it for review. If they choose your abstract, they pay you $5. This site will pay you the first few days the next month. So whatever you earn in November will be paid to you the first few days of December.

GetaFreelancer and other bidding sites: These sites have buyers post projects then writers bid on them. If you are chosen for the project, you will be charged a small fee or cut from the total bid so adjust your bid accordingly. Upon completion of your project you can have the payment sent to paypal.

Digital Point Forums: The Content Creation forum is full of people looking for writers. You can make some easy money but the pay can sometimes be really low. There are people on the forum who are willing to write for pennies so it makes it hard for those of us who write quality articles and get paid for quality. There are some though who are looking for good writers and are willing to pay for it and that is why I am listing it.

Craiglist: This classifieds site has long term writing gigs but sometimes will have short term gigs as well.
