French Desert : Details on the Delicious Deserts That Are Found in France!

The Informer
In France, there are definitely the best desserts. They have Chocolate éclairs, Croissants, Chocolate Croissants, Macaroons, crepes, crème brulee, profiteroles, fruit salad, and Mouse au Chocolat.

Chocolate éclairs are thin and soft pastry shells filled with a chocolate crème. There are variations such as coffee éclairs, and vanilla éclairs.

Croissants and chocolate croissants are a crumbly and crispy pastry with a fluffy and buttery inside. Regular croissants are shaped like a crescent moon. Chocolate Croissants are the same as regular Croissants but they are rectangular and have 1 or 2 sticks of soft chocolate placed in the center.

Macaroons are a sugar mass that is shaped like a dot of whipped cream and has an added flavor such as chocolate, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and others. Some macarons are mixed in flavor and some are unique, like chocolate chip macarons. Plain macaroons are good too.

Crepes are a lot like pancakes only crepes are much thinner. Common toppings for crepes include melted chocolate, syrup, and sugar.

Crème brulee is lightly burnt custard with a crust of caramelized sugar.

Profiteroles are cream puffs drizzled with warm chocolate sauce and sometimes accompanied by vanilla ice cream.

Fruit salad is well, a salad off different kind of fruit. Mostly, the ingredients are apples, pears, bananas, strawberries, grapes, kiwis, grapefruit, and oranges. Any or all of these ingredients can be put together to make a fruit salad. One great combo is Orange and Grapefruit. It is delicious when there are not any other ingredients added.

Last and definitely not least, Mouse au Chocolat. This dessert is actually my favorite, and is a chocolate batter made of eggs, flour, milk, melted chocolate, and some other ingredients. After you let the mouse rise, it becomes a creamy yet fluffy and very delicious mixture.

So as you can see, I am not lying when I say France has the best desserts. If you don't believe me, than you can try one of these deserts yourself, as they are available at almost any bakery or supermarket. Or, if you can't find them at a store, you can make some of these dishes as they are easy to make. But remember, the best deserts will obviously be found in France so don't expect to find authentic, delicious deserts at your every-day supermarket. There are plenty of great recipes that can be found on-line. So, why don't you try one? This is just one of the great qualities of France.

Yummy! I am in love with the language and the food isn't bad either. My favorite is creme brulee.
