When planning a wedding you are inevitably going to have questions that need to be answered. However, many of the questions that you need to ask will be questions that most brides ask. Below are five of the most commonly asked questions by brides planning a wedding and brief answers.

#1 - How Much Is My Wedding Going to Cost?

The cost of the average wedding is between $10,000 and $35,000. However, the size of the wedding, where it will be located and the design of the wedding will all impact the cost of your wedding. To keep your wedding costs manageable it is a good idea to set a budget based on the number of people that will be attending your wedding such as $50 to $200 a head.

#2 - When Should I Get Married?

The time of year that you get married is really up to you. Spring and summer weddings are very popular and so it will be more difficult to find venues that are available during these seasons. Fall and winter weddings give you more flexibility when it comes to finding a wedding venue, and generally the prices of wedding venue rentals will be lower during this off season. However, fall and winter weddings have weather issues that can make getting people and supplies to your venues more difficult.

#3 - Who Should Pay for the Wedding?

In the past it was traditionally the bride's family that paid for the wedding. However, today there really aren't any rules for who "should" pay for the wedding. Many couples cover the cost of their weddings themselves, while others have families that pay for all or part of the wedding and reception.

#4 - What Type of Wedding Gown Should I Wear?

Finding the perfect wedding gown for your wedding is going to be a challenge. When selecting a wedding gown you need to focus on a design that will flatter your body shape, that will compliment the theme of your wedding and that will also fit within your budget. You need to try on a variety of wedding dresses before selecting one for your wedding to ensure you have found the dress for your special day.

#5 - What Theme Should My Wedding Have?

Having a theme for your wedding will make planning a lot easier. Themes can be based on colors schemes, on locations or on eras in history. They can also be based on ethnic traditions or family traditions.
