I picked one up, even though I don't usually chew gum. It so annoys me when someone is talking to you and is chewing, or you see the gum moving around in their mouth.
We keep Tic-Tacs in the car, all the time, but I put this packet of 9 pieces in the middle area, between the front seats.
The packaging is bright and cheerful. It is green, with a mint leaf, and yellow, and white. It states that this is 'New', 'Purifies your breath', and it is 'with neatrafresh'.
When I pulled out the strip of sugar free gum, they were perforated, 3 in a row. They measured three quarters of an inch x half an inch. They were white.
I tore one off, and pushed it through the plastic. The outside was crunchy, and it tasted very minty. Then I noticed the other flavor, which was melon. The mint was very strong for a few minutes, and then perhaps lasted 45 minutes. I was left with a slight mint/melon taste, which wasn't pleasing, but wasn't awful.
The one thing I really liked about the Dentyne Pure sugar free gum was, that it didn't stick to my dentures.
I asked my husband Len, if he wanted to try the gum, as he is diabetic, and it is sugar free. He gave them a try, and has been having a piece most days. He does like the minty flavor, and as he uses chewing gum, said that the flavor holds well. He tends to chew it for up to 2 hours, and says that the minty taste stays good for him. It is surprising that our tastes differ, so I am pleased that he likes the sugar free gum, and it works well for him.
Even at the price of $1.29, it is still a good buy, as it makes your breath smell good, and leaves a minty taste in your mouth. One piece of Dentyne Pure sugar free gum has only three and a half calories.
