Though rumors swirled that the brand new eatery would open its doors and start serving hungry Brooklynites back in July, the café didn't actually kick things off until just recently.
Owned and operated by 23-year-old Maria Dobrovolskiy, a Moscow native, the Fresh Café Bar is situated in the Clark Street subway station at the St. George Hotel. Dobrovolskiy is also the establishment's head chef.
The Chess Café previously occupied the space.
Fresh Café Bar offers up sandwiches, crepes, frozen yogurts, and other goodies geared toward hungry hipsters and the Gen Z crowd, though anyone with a healthy appetite is sure to find something to their liking.
Fresh Café Bar is located at 100 Henry Street, between Pineapple Walk and Clark in Brooklyn Heights.
