Fresh Step Crystals Premium Cat Litter - Product Review

Less Odor, Litter Box Changing Time Saver

Gwendolyn Taylor
I have a cat that is going on nine years and I strive to treat her well and give her the best, but lately her litter box situation was getting out of hand. I do not know anyone who enjoys changing their cat's litter box or the smell it produces. Also, I personally cannot stand the dust that regular cat litter emits when sifted. So on one of my trips to the store to pick up some more cat litter supply, I came across Fresh Steps' premium Cat Litter Crystals. The fact that they were shaped as little blue and clear crystals and were not made out clay is what first got my attention. The second thing is I noticed is that it keeps odor smells triple amount of the time away compared to regular cat litter which means less times of having to change the litter box! I immediately picked one of these up.

This formula is so easy to use and emits way less dust than regular cat litter. It also is less messy and lives up to what it actually claims. One of these bags lasts me up to about month without me having to replace the entire litter box, and I only have to change the litter box once or twice a week. The only time a faint smell is ever detected is when it comes close to the end of the month to replace the entire box, but even then the smell is not overpowering. The color of the crystals also adds a nice, cleanliness touch. Also, since this is not made of clay and does not emit that much dust, whenever my cat accidentally tracks some of the litter onto the ground, the clean up is less difficult because it doesn't stick to the ground or leave any residue or marking. I just simply sweep them up and that's that.

These come in 8 pound, resealable bags. They usually retail for around $13.50 which is kind of pricey, but if you take in account that this can last up to a month or more without having to change the entire litter box than this is a money and time saver. These also come with "Paw Points" which you can enter online and rack up enough to redeem for great prizes and goodies. You can purchase these at your local Wal-Mart or Target store, and I would highly suggest doing so on your next cat litter run.
