Fresno's Tattoo Boutique: Tower Tattoos

Reputable, Professional, and Classy: Fresno's Number One Choice in Body Art

Fresno's Tattoo Boutique: Tower Tattoos

With over twenty tattoo shops in the city of Fresno, one may find it quite a challenge to decide on a location. Tattoos are, of course, permanent, and an informed decision is crucial when selecting a tattoo artist and/or shop! In Fresno, there is one shop that is consistently in possession of a flawless reputation. "Tower Tattoos", located in Fresno's artsy Tower District is the top pick for many locals seeking body art.

With a vintage-meets-Ikea feel, Tower Tattoos is a revolutionary shop. You won't find a dimly lit, covered-in-leather swanky joint on Van Ness Avenue. What you will find is an exceptionally clean and brightly colored tattoo "boutique" of sorts. You will find an outstandingly sterile environment, and artists that utilize the safest of techniques. There are rules for Tower Tattoo that apply to every patron. No smoking, eating, or drinking allowed, which eliminates the opportunity for inhaling second hand smoke, crumbs on the floor, and belligerent clientele. The artists refuse to tattoo any would-be patrons that are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, which only adds to their credibility. Probably the most impressive rule is their refusal to tattoo anyone's hands, feet, neck or heads. While some may see this as discriminatory, many believe it only adds to the integrity of the shop.

Kimberly Bearden, the owner and mastermind behind Tower Tattoos is a soft-spoken, mild mannered Fresno native. She is often described as having a "gentle touch" that matches her personality. She is a true artist, and member of the national tattoo association. With ten years of experience, Bearden is a visionary who has taken her talents from canvas to human skin. Her abilities, many feel, are unmatched in Fresno, and her clientele varies greatly. Perhaps the most interesting information on Bearden is her lack of tattoos…not a single one! It is clear that her art-form is exactly that; a true passion for turning human skin into a masterpiece.

Tower Tattoos has grown steadily since its opening just a few years ago. The shop is now home to several artists, and offers several services, including piercing and permanent makeup. Tower Tattoos has become a Fresno hot-spot, and has crushed the theory that tattoos are only for Rockstars and troublemakers. The clientele at the shop varies widely. From "I just turned 18 and I want a tattoo on my lower back!" to "I'm 65 and always wanted a tattoo!" Tower Tattoos is the perfect choice for all Fresno residents seeking body art.

Tower Tatttoo needs to improve their work for the rates they are charging. Kim should make that a consideration in her business plan.
I am thinking of having some work done. This would be my second piece on my body and am considering going out of town for the work to be performed in San Jose, Ca. I would do something like that and I am a life long Fresburger resident just for the sake that Tower may be a little overated.

I totally agree with you about Tower Tattoos. I m ean you would think that since the Tower District has a bad reputation that the tattoo shops would as well. I actually never heard about Tower Tattoos until I went looking throught the phone book. I always went to Miracle Mike's in Fresno on Olive Street. I don't recommend anyone ever going there. I personally think that is the most filthest, raunchy, disgusting place I ever went to. I admit I let Mike to most of my tattoos but that was because I thought I was getting a good deal there. But the more I started to go in there the more I seen the true colors of the shop. He allows the people in there to smoke and I do not just mean cigarettes; I mean POT. Yup you heard me pot. I seen it with my own two eyes. I was already in the process of my tattoo so I didn't want to just get up and leave. So after that episode I started looking for another place to take my business. That is when I found Tower Tattoos. I went in and I was amased at how c
