Fridays: Just a Few Thoughts About the Day After Thursday

Just a Few Thoughts on the Day After Thursday

I love Fridays because it means a payday for me and my family, every two weeks. Fridays are when the children get to relax for two days, Saturday and Sunday. Fridays also mean going out to eat night. Sometimes the local movie theaters have a new movie opening for showing. This is good for all those late evening people.

Usually all those who work a five day week, are so grateful for Friday to arrive, so they can get some much needed time off from work. Others like Fridays because they might want to take a mini vacation or do some yard work that needs catching up on.

Back before the season ended, I enjoyed watching Ghost Whisperer, which came on CBS stations. I loved watching Jennifer Hewitt trying to send souls to the light. Sometimes after Ghost Whisperer, me and my husband would watch a rented movie. We have Charter Cable which offers On Demand services, This is where you can rent and watch a movie, in the comfort of your own home, and if you have a big family, this also saves you some hard earned cash. It ranges from $2.99 to $5.99 depending on which movie you choose.

Friday night around town where I live there is a series of concerts, it is called the TGIF series. They have numerous entertainers and singers to come and perform on stage around our little Court House. It is neat riding through town and hearing all the sounds coming from this area.

Fridays are the end to usually a busy week here at our house. There is no more softball games, practices, or cub scouts on Fridays, which can be hectic during the work week. Alot of going and time are put into those in my house. Fridays also signal days home with my whole family, which if your children are in teen years can be a much pleasant gift. Time with family is special and should be cherished, so on Fridays, I rest assured mine is home, at least for the time being. Spending time with my family little to alot is great.

Fridays I also have a policy of, "if we are not going out to eat somewhere, then it is a free night, a night where you get to eat what you can find and fix for yourself.. No making a big meal on Fridays, folks, it is called appropriately (in our house), "Easy Night". Yay, for "Easy Night".

Fridays are just a good relaxing or either social time for my family and myself, and I would not want to be stuck without a Friday. Fridays can be a start to a most pleasurable time, around my house. Relaxing, eating out, movies, time with family, what more could one person ask for?

Being a mother of three lovely children. I love to write if it will help others, and if it is read and enjoyed by others. Writing is like therapy for me. When I write my emotions come across and I believe...  View profile
